Hill escapes from Delhi

These are long-weekend distances rather than evening ones — Barog and Shimla are the shortest run from Delhi, Mukteshwar the longest. Each listing has its own map and we will give you a realistic driving time for your start point if you ask; times on the hill roads vary too much with season and weather for one number to be honest.

Availability is per house and per date, and the calendar on each listing is live — if the dates show as open, they are bookable. If you are travelling in deep winter, ask us about road access before you book rather than after.

Yes. Every nightly rate on this page is all in — the tariff, GST and our 5% booking fee are already inside the number. There is no cleaning fee, no service fee and no pet fee waiting at checkout. Meals, where a house offers them, are quoted separately because they are a separate thing you can say no to.

Usually, yes. Most of these houses price Friday and Saturday nights above the rest of the week, and none of them price a weekday higher. If your dates are flexible, shifting a night either side of the weekend is the single easiest way to bring the total down.

Cancel seven or more days before check-in and you get back everything you paid. Between three and seven days it is half. Inside three days the booking is non-refundable. Refunds go to the card or account you paid from and usually land within five to seven working days.
