Joie De Vivre is built for slow mountain days in Mukteshwar, where the view does a lot of the work and the house is set up to make the rest easy. The villa has 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, so even a full group of 10 guests can spread out without feeling crowded. Inside, the layout leans practical rather than precious: a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, blender, kettle and crockery, plus a dining table that keeps meals together instead of scattered across rooms. The mix of Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, self check-in, power backup and long-stay friendly basics makes it usable for both short breaks and unhurried work-from-hills stays.
What gives the place its character is the balance between indoor comfort and outdoor time. There’s a balcony, terrace, garden, outdoor furniture and an outdoor dining area, so mornings can start with tea facing the mountains and evenings can move outside for barbecue dinners. The house also includes books, board games and a sound system, which suits quiet nights when the weather turns cool and the fire is doing its job.
