Mukteshwar sits high in Kumaon, with winding approach roads, pine-covered slopes and small clusters of local shops rather than a busy town centre. Days move around weather here: clear mornings can open up long mountain views, while cloud and mist can arrive quickly later on. The villa is a good base for short drives to the temple ridge and village-side walks, with enough at home to make staying in a reasonable plan too.
