Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings made through the Hostizzy platform at book.hostizzy.com, operated by Hostsphere India Private Limited. By completing a booking, you agree to the cancellation terms outlined below.
2. Standard Cancellation Windows
The following cancellation tiers apply based on when the cancellation request is received relative to the scheduled check-in date and time:

Some properties may have custom cancellation policies that differ from the standard tiers above. Any custom policy will be clearly displayed on the property listing and booking confirmation.
3. How to Cancel a Booking
To request a cancellation, you may:
- Email us at stay@hostizzy.com with your booking reference number.
- Contact us via WhatsApp at +91 95604 94001.
- Call us at +91 95604 94001.
Cancellations are effective from the date and time we receive and acknowledge your request. We will confirm your cancellation and applicable refund amount via email or WhatsApp.
4. Refund Process
- Refunds are processed through Razorpay to the original payment method used during booking.
- Refunds typically take 7 to 10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- UPI refunds are generally processed within 3 to 5 business days. Credit/debit card refunds may take up to 10 business days.
- You will receive a refund confirmation once the refund has been initiated from our end.
5. Booking Modifications
You may request to modify your booking (e.g., change dates, number of guests, or property) subject to the following conditions:
- Modification requests must be made at least 48 hours before the original check-in date.
- Modifications are subject to availability and price differences for the new dates.
- If the modified booking is at a higher rate, you will be charged the difference. If at a lower rate, the difference will be refunded.
- Modifications requested within 48 hours of check-in will be treated as a cancellation and re-booking, subject to the cancellation tiers above.
6. No-Shows
If you do not check in on the scheduled date without prior cancellation or communication, it will be treated as a no-show. No refund will be issued for no-shows, and any remaining nights in the booking may be released for other guests.
7. Early Departure
If you check out earlier than your scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided for the unused nights unless agreed upon in writing by the property manager.
8. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, severe weather, civil unrest, or transportation shutdowns — that prevent you from travelling or us from providing the accommodation:
- We will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule your stay to alternative dates at no extra charge, subject to availability.
- Claims under force majeure must be supported by reasonable evidence (e.g., government advisories, travel bans, medical documentation).
- Force majeure does not cover personal schedule changes, flight cancellations by airlines, or changes in personal travel plans.
9. Cancellation by Hostizzy
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a booking due to property unavailability, safety concerns, or unforeseen maintenance issues. If we cancel your booking:
- You will receive a full 100% refund.
- We will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative property of equal or better quality.
- You will be notified as early as possible via email, WhatsApp, or phone.
10. Disputes
If you believe a cancellation or refund has been handled incorrectly, please contact us within 15 days of the cancellation at stay@hostizzy.com. We will review your case and respond within 7 business days.
Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the dispute resolution and governing law provisions in our Terms of Service.
