We would save one evening for the BBQ and let dinner take as long as it takes.

Chapter one

A farm cottage for slow meals

Palash is a two-bedroom cottage at Wildflower Farmstay, set up for the sort of stay where nobody needs to rush out after breakfast. The garden gives everyone a place to spread out, while the balcony is good for a quieter cup of coffee or a few pages of a book. Inside, the kitchen and dining table make shared meals easy, whether you are making tea between plans or cooking a proper dinner. This is a home-shaped stay for up to eight people: families with children, two couples, or friends who are happy to divide the chopping and take turns at the coffee maker. Bring something for the BBQ, put out the board games, and let the evening run at its own pace. It is a farmstay, not a sealed city apartment; the outdoors are part of the day here.
Chapter two

A day at the house.

A few moments, in the order they tend to happen.

Arrival
14:00
Arrival

You arrive from 14:00 and get the useful things out of the way first: bags in the bedrooms, groceries in the kitchen, phones on Wi-Fi. Then take a slow lap through the garden and choose who gets the balcony coffee spot.

First evening
19:00
First evening

As the light drops, the outdoor dining area and BBQ become the natural centre of the house. Keep dinner simple, bring a layer for later, and move indoors for board games if the air turns cool.

Next morning
08:00
Next morning

The kettle and coffee maker get the first shift, followed by breakfast at the dining table or outside in the garden. Room-darkening blinds mean the rest of the group can take their time getting started.

Departure
11:00
Departure

Check-out is at 11:00, so the final morning is for one last coffee, packing up, and making sure the kitchen is in order. Most groups leave wishing they had saved another evening for the BBQ.

Chapter three

The spaces.

Primary bedroom

One of the two air-conditioned bedrooms has bed linen, clothes storage, hangers, and room-darkening blinds.

Second bedroom

The second bedroom is set up with air conditioning, bed linen, clothes storage, and blinds for later mornings.

Bathrooms

Two bathrooms include hot water, body soap, shampoo, shower gel, essentials, and a first aid kit nearby.

Kitchen

The kitchen has a kettle, coffee maker, cookware space, and the basics for making meals during your stay.

Dining area

A dining table gives the group a fixed spot for breakfast, cards, and meals cooked in the kitchen.

Balcony

The balcony is a quieter outdoor corner for coffee, reading material, or a pause between plans.

Garden

The garden gives the cottage an open outdoor area where children can play and adults can sit after a meal.

Outdoor dining and BBQ

The outdoor dining area and BBQ are set up for long dinners when the weather is comfortable.

Work and utility corner

Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, washer, tumble dryer, iron, and heating make longer stays easier to manage.

The feeling

In a word.

Unhurried

Breakfast can stretch from the dining table into the garden, with coffee made when everyone is finally up. The balcony gives early risers a separate perch before the house gets moving.

Together

Two bedrooms and a shared dining setup keep a small group close without making every moment communal. Board games, children's books, and the BBQ give the evening an easy shape.

Self-contained

The kitchen, washer, tumble dryer, workspace, and Wi-Fi make it practical to settle in for more than a night. Air conditioning and heating help the cottage work across changing weather.

A note from your host
We took on Palash because it feels most useful when people actually use the whole house, not just the bedrooms. Make breakfast at the dining table, take your coffee to the balcony, and keep one evening aside for the BBQ. We also ask guests to treat it as they would a home, because it is one.
Step outside the gate

Where you are.

Koshimbale sits in Maharashtra's quieter, greener side, where the road slows as it reaches village land and farm plots. Days here tend to begin with birds, passing local traffic, and the practical rhythm of homes nearby rather than city noise. Karjat-side outings are within driving range if you want them, but Palash works just as well when the plan is to stay put, cook together, and use the garden.

Good to know

Worth knowing.

  • This is a farmstay in a village setting, so you will hear the ordinary sounds of outdoor life rather than city hush.
  • Mosquitoes can show up around dusk in the garden, especially after wet weather, so carry repellent if you plan to sit outside.
  • The BBQ is for guests who are happy to handle their own grilling and bring the food they want to cook.
  • The cottage sleeps up to eight across two bedrooms, so larger groups should be comfortable sharing room arrangements.
  • The garden and outdoor dining area are part of the experience, but weather can change how much time you spend outside.
  • Security cameras are present on the property; ask the on-ground team if you would like clarity on their locations.
