We like Jugnu most in the morning, with coffee on the balcony and nowhere urgent to be.

Chapter one

A farm cottage for two or three

Jugnu is a compact one-bedroom cottage at Wildflower Farm, made for a small, self-contained stay rather than a house party. The pace here is simple: arrive, put the bags down, switch on the AC, and take your tea out to the balcony or into the garden. There is enough room for a couple, or a couple with one extra guest, without turning the stay into logistics. Inside, the kitchen lets you keep meals easy and on your own time; the washer and tumble dryer are useful for longer bookings or muddy monsoon days. Room-darkening blinds make late mornings possible, while the ceiling fan and heating cover the changes in weather. This is someone’s home, so it asks for a little care in return. The garden is especially nice around daylight hours; bring mosquito repellent for dusk.
Chapter two

A day at the house.

A few moments, in the order they tend to happen.

Arrival
14:00
Arrival

You arrive from 14:00 and come in through the private entrance. Take a few minutes to find your bearings: the bedroom, the kitchen, the balcony, and the garden just outside. The AC is there for a warm afternoon, and self check-in keeps the arrival straightforward.

First evening
19:00
First evening

By evening, the garden is a good place to sit with a drink before the insects get more active. Bring dinner ingredients if you want to cook; the kitchen is set up with crockery and cutlery. Then draw the blinds, put something on the TV, and keep the night indoors.

Next morning
08:00
Next morning

Start with tea or coffee on the balcony while the garden is still at its quietest. Breakfast can stay simple in the kitchen, with no need to rush out early. The ceiling fan helps keep the room comfortable as the morning warms.

Departure
11:00
Departure

Before the 11:00 check-out, there is time for one last sit outdoors and a proper pack-up. The washer and tumble dryer are useful if the stay has run through wet weather. Most guests leave wishing they had planned one more unstructured morning here.

Chapter three

The spaces.

Bedroom

The single bedroom has AC, a ceiling fan, bed linen, heating, and room-darkening blinds for a comfortable night.

Bathroom

The bathroom has hot water and basic essentials for an easy arrival.

Kitchen

The kitchen comes with crockery and cutlery for simple meals during the stay.

Balcony

The balcony gives the cottage an outdoor perch for morning tea or a quiet read.

Garden

The garden has outdoor furniture and is best used in the cooler parts of the day.

Private entrance

A private entrance and self check-in make arrivals flexible while building staff remain available for support.

Laundry area

A washer and tumble dryer are available for longer stays or damp-weather clothes.

The feeling

In a word.

Unhurried

The room-darkening blinds make a slow morning believable, and the balcony gives coffee somewhere to go before the day starts.

Grounded

The garden keeps the cottage connected to the farm rather than sealed inside. Sit out in the cooler hours; mosquitoes can show up as the light drops.

Self-contained

A kitchen, washer, and tumble dryer make this an easy base for a few days, especially when you would rather not plan every meal or pack light.

A note from your host
We took on Jugnu for guests who do not need a large villa to feel properly away. It is a small cottage with the practical things that make a few days easy: a usable kitchen, a balcony, a garden, and a proper reset between days. We tell guests to treat it as they would a friend’s home.
Step outside the gate

Where you are.

Koshimbale has the slower rhythm of a rural Maharashtra settlement, where a stay is more about keeping your own schedule than stepping out to a busy high street. Wildflower Farm gives Jugnu a garden setting and some breathing room around the cottage. Plan to carry the groceries and small essentials you want for your stay, then use the kitchen and outdoor seating rather than depending on late-night options nearby.

Good to know

Worth knowing.

  • At dusk, the garden can attract mosquitoes, so pack repellent if you plan to sit outside.
  • This is a one-bedroom cottage for up to three, so it suits a small party rather than separate sleeping groups.
  • Koshimbale runs at a rural pace; bring groceries and any specific supplies you want before settling in.
  • The property is someone’s home, and the kitchen, furnishings, and outdoor areas need the same care you would give your own place.
  • Security cameras are present around the property, while the cottage itself has a private entrance.
  • The garden is part of the experience, so weather may shape how much time you spend outdoors, especially in monsoon.

Who this house suits

  • A couple’s few quiet days away works well here, with a private bedroom, kitchen, and balcony all in one compact setup.
  • A couple travelling with one child or friend has room for three without taking on a large house.
  • A work-from-anywhere break suits guests who need Wi-Fi, AC, and a change of view between calls.
  • A longer rural stay is easier with the washer, tumble dryer, and kitchen already on hand.
  • Pet parents who want a garden-adjacent cottage can bring their companion along.
  • Guests who prefer self check-in and their own meal timings will find the setup straightforward.
