A house with its own rhythm.
We shaped Aangan as a proper farm stay on the Manesar side of Gurgaon, with the house set inside a garden and the pool as the center of the day. The idea was simple from the start. Keep it easy for a group to settle in. Give everyone open air, shade, and enough room to spread out. So we kept the layout practical, added a full kitchen, made sure there is power backup, and set up outdoor corners with a hammock, loungers, and a dining area that actually gets used.
You have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so the house works well for one large group without anyone feeling too cramped. Each bedroom has AC, storage, bed linen, and extra pillows and blankets, and the room-darkening blinds help if you like a later morning. The common spaces do a lot of the work here. There is a living area for indoor time, a dining table for long meals, and a balcony and garden for everyone else to spill into. If you are choosing rooms as a group, we would usually suggest giving one room to a couple, one to older family members who want a quieter corner, and keeping the third flexible for friends or kids.
“Give everyone open air, shade, and enough room to spread out.
The rhythm here is slow in the morning and social by late afternoon. You wake up to the garden, make tea in the kitchen, and drift outside before the day gets warm. By noon, people move between the pool, the shaded outdoor seating, and the house. Evenings are the best part. The barbecue comes out, the Sony sound system gets used, and the fireplace makes sense in cooler weather. This is not a place for a rushed overnight stop. It suits a weekend where you want to swim, cook, nap, play board games, and stay in one place.
We host families, groups of friends, small celebrations, and work teams that want an easy reset outside the city. It also works for guests bringing pets, and for longer stays because you have a washer, dryer, workspace, parking, and staff support on hand. If you are planning a birthday, a low-key reunion, or just two nights with fifteen people under one roof, you will settle in quickly. We like this house best when it is full of people, food, and unhurried time together.
