— The story

A house with its own rhythm.

We shaped Aangan as a proper farm stay on the Manesar side of Gurgaon, with the house set inside a garden and the pool as the center of the day. The idea was simple from the start. Keep it easy for a group to settle in. Give everyone open air, shade, and enough room to spread out. So we kept the layout practical, added a full kitchen, made sure there is power backup, and set up outdoor corners with a hammock, loungers, and a dining area that actually gets used.

You have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so the house works well for one large group without anyone feeling too cramped. Each bedroom has AC, storage, bed linen, and extra pillows and blankets, and the room-darkening blinds help if you like a later morning. The common spaces do a lot of the work here. There is a living area for indoor time, a dining table for long meals, and a balcony and garden for everyone else to spill into. If you are choosing rooms as a group, we would usually suggest giving one room to a couple, one to older family members who want a quieter corner, and keeping the third flexible for friends or kids.

We built Aangan around the pool, then gave the lawn and hammock room to keep up.

The rhythm here is slow in the morning and social by late afternoon. You wake up to the garden, make tea in the kitchen, and drift outside before the day gets warm. By noon, people move between the pool, the shaded outdoor seating, and the house. Evenings are the best part. The barbecue comes out, the Sony sound system gets used, and the fireplace makes sense in cooler weather. This is not a place for a rushed overnight stop. It suits a weekend where you want to swim, cook, nap, play board games, and stay in one place.

We host families, groups of friends, small celebrations, and work teams that want an easy reset outside the city. It also works for guests bringing pets, and for longer stays because you have a washer, dryer, workspace, parking, and staff support on hand. If you are planning a birthday, a low-key reunion, or just two nights with fifteen people under one roof, you will settle in quickly. We like this house best when it is full of people, food, and unhurried time together.

— A day here

A stay at Aangan Farmstay .

14:00Arrival
You come in through the private entrance and the place opens out into the garden before you even reach the rooms. The first loop usually includes the pool, the living area, and a quick check of who is taking which bedroom.
19:00First evening
By evening, the outdoor dining area and BBQ corner start doing the work. Some people stay by the pool, some drift to the hammock, and the Sony Bluetooth speaker usually ends up carrying the music across the lawn.
08:00Next morning
Morning light lands softly in the garden, and breakfast tends to stretch out at the dining table or outside under the open sky. The kitchen makes tea, toast, and a simple spread easy, with the kettle, toaster, and microwave all within reach.
11:00Departure
The last hour usually goes into one more slow coffee, a final dip if the weather is warm, and the usual search for missing chargers. People often wish they had used the lawn and pool a little longer.
— Best for

This house works for…

  • Large family weekends where everyone wants one base, but not one cramped room.
  • Birthday stays that need a lawn, a pool, and enough outdoor seating for the whole group.
  • Friends' trips that revolve around long meals, music, and late poolside conversations.
  • Pet-friendly stays, since the house welcomes pets and has open garden space.
  • Work-from-villa trips for a small team that needs wifi, a dedicated workspace, and quiet indoor corners.
  • Short NCR breaks when you want a farmstay feel without leaving the Gurgaon-Manesar side for long.
— Worth knowing

Honest notes from the team.

  • Evenings can bring mosquitoes near the garden and pool, so repellent helps.
  • The pool can feel cold in winter, especially if you are planning an early swim.
  • This is a group house, so sound carries more than it would in a standalone room with thicker walls.
  • Smoking is allowed, but only in the right outdoor spots, so keep it outside.
  • The house feels most useful when the weather lets you use the lawn, balcony, and outdoor dining area.

📍 Gurgaon, Haryana

Aangan sits on the Manesar side of Gurgaon, in a part of the city where the roads open up and the plots get larger. It feels more farm belt than high-rise district, with enough access to Gurgaon to keep the drive sensible and enough open land around it to make the garden and pool feel like part of the setting, not an add-on.
