How Refunds Reach You

The route

A refund goes back to whatever paid — the same card, bank account or UPI handle. We cannot send it somewhere else, even if you ask; the refund follows the original payment by design, and that is what makes it hard for anyone to divert one.

The timeline

We initiate the refund with Razorpay when the cancellation is processed — usually within a few hours, and the same working day. After that it is with your bank, and it typically lands in 5 to 7 working days.

Roughly:

  • UPI — often the fastest, sometimes within a day or two
  • Debit card / net banking — 5 to 7 working days
  • Credit card — 5 to 7 working days, and then it appears as a credit on your statement rather than as money arriving, which can make it look slower than it was

Weekends and bank holidays do not count as working days.

How much

The percentage from the cancellation policy, applied to what you actually paid. Everything refunds in proportion — the room, the extra guest charges, our 5% fee, the GST, the meals. We do not hold back the fee on a refundable cancellation.

What you will have in writing

A confirmation on WhatsApp and email stating the refund amount and that it has been initiated. That message is your record. If the money has not arrived after 7 working days, send it back to us and we will chase the reference with Razorpay.

Partial refunds

On a 50% refund your booking is cancelled in full — it is not half a booking. The house goes back on sale and the half that was not refunded is the cancellation charge.

If something looks wrong

If the amount does not match what you were told, or nothing has arrived after a week, WhatsApp +91 95604 93700 with your booking reference. Every refund has a Razorpay reference against it and we can tell you exactly where it is.
