How We Know Every Home
How We Know Every Home
We are not a listings site
This is the part worth understanding, because it changes what our word is worth. Hostizzy is not a marketplace where owners upload their properties and we hope for the best. We manage every home on this site. Our team took it on, set it up, trained the staff, and is responsible for what happens while you are in it.
So "verified" here does not mean we checked a form somebody filled in. It means we run the place.
What that means in practice
We have been there. Every home was visited before it went on the site, and our team keeps going back — not on an annual audit schedule, but because operating a house means being in it.
The photos are the house. Shot by us or on our brief, at the home you would be staying in. Not a stock library, not the good corner of a different room, not last renovation's kitchen.
The listing is checked against reality. Bedroom count, bed configuration, guest capacity, the amenity list, the pool, the heating, the Wi-Fi, what is actually within driving distance. If a listing says a heated pool, the pool is heated.
The staff work for us. The caretaker who meets you is part of our operation, briefed on your booking, and reachable.
Where we fall short
Rural India is not a hotel corridor. Power cuts happen, and most of our homes have a generator or inverter for exactly that reason. Village water supply is not municipal. Mountain roads close in bad weather. The Wi-Fi at a farmhouse two hours off the highway is not the Wi-Fi in a city flat.
We would rather tell you that here than have you discover it on arrival. Where a home has a real limitation, the property page says so — and if you find something on site that the listing did not prepare you for, tell us, because that is a listing we need to fix.
