Creating a Trip Board
Creating a Trip Board
A trip board is a shortlist you can share. It exists because picking a house for eight people in a WhatsApp group is otherwise miserable — four links, two of them dead, and nobody sure which one Priya meant.
Making one
Go to trip boards and create a new board. Give it the name of the actual trip — "Rishikesh in March", "Anjali's 30th" — because you will end up with several.
Adding homes
Save any home to a board from its property page, or from a card while you are browsing. Add as many as you like; the point is to compare, so three or four is more useful than one.
What the board shows you
For every home on it, side by side:
- the nightly total
- the per-person, per-night figure
- bedrooms and maximum guests
That per-person number is the one that settles group arguments. A ₹35,000 house that sleeps sixteen is cheaper per head than a ₹20,000 house that sleeps six, and no amount of discussion in a chat thread makes that obvious the way one column does.
Then share it
Send the board to everyone coming — see inviting people to your board. They see the same homes and the same numbers, and the conversation becomes about which house rather than about which link.
Booking from a board
One person books, on the property page, in the normal way. Boards are for deciding, not for paying — we do not collect money from your group individually, so splitting the cost stays between you.
Boards are not holds
A home on your board is not reserved. Availability and prices move while you deliberate, especially for peak dates. If the group has agreed, book it — and if you need a few days, WhatsApp +91 95604 93700 and ask whether we can hold the dates.
