A farm cottage among peacocks
The Bageecha is a six-room farmstay for people who would rather wake to birds than traffic. It sits in Vrindavan’s greener side, with lawns outside the cottages, horses nearby, and peacock calls that can arrive before your alarm does.
Each cottage keeps things simple: a double bed, an attached bathroom, sofas for an indoor pause, and a private patio facing the garden. Some rooms have an attic bed that works well for a child who wants their own little perch.
Days tend to spill outdoors here. Take tea onto the grass, read on the patio, or gather around the BBQ as the light drops. This is not a sealed-off hotel stay; it is a working, open-air farm setting, with the sounds and small interruptions that come with it.

As the light fades, the lawn becomes the natural meeting point. Put the BBQ to work, sit out with your group, and expect insects to start showing up around the garden after dusk.

The farm wakes up early, often with peacock calls and birds in the trees. Bring your coffee to the patio or lawn before heading into Vrindavan’s busier streets for the day.

Departure
Pack up by the 11:00 check-out, with enough time for one last sit outside. Most guests leave wishing they had kept a full morning aside for the lawn instead of rushing straight into town.

Unhurried
The private patios make it easy to take breakfast or tea outside without making a plan of it. Early light settles on the lawn while peacocks and farm birds provide the morning soundtrack.

This is a farm setting, not a polished urban compound. Horses nearby, open green space, and the occasional rustle in the garden keep the day connected to what is outside.
Together
Six separate bedrooms give a larger family or group room to spread out, then come back together on the lawn or around the BBQ. Children can claim an attic bed while the adults linger outside.
A note from your host
We took on The Bageecha because it offers a different rhythm from a city hotel in Vrindavan. The lawns, the horses, and the early peacock calls do much of the work. We tell guests to leave a little room in their plan for a slow morning on their patio; it often becomes the part they remember.
Step outside the gate
Where you are.
Vrindavan moves to the rhythm of temple hours, visiting families, small sweet shops, and busy lanes closer to its centre. The Bageecha sits in a greener farmstay setting, where the built-up city feel gives way to open lawns and animal sounds. You can head into town for darshan and return to a quieter evening outside. Expect the roads around Vrindavan to get slower around festivals, weekends, and major prayer times.

- At dusk, the garden attracts mosquitoes and other insects, so bring repellent if you plan to sit outside.
- The lawn and in-house dining area are shared spaces, while each cottage remains private.

- Vrindavan traffic can slow down considerably around weekends, festivals, and temple timings.
