A six-bedroom family home in Varanasi, run with a caretaker and a working kitchen.
A person on our team answers — we manage every home ourselves.
Before it went live, a Hostizzy team member visited, checked ownership, photographed every space, tested the systems, and met the staff.
“We wanted a house that works for a whole family, not a hotel corridor.”
A few moments, in the order they tend to happen.

Most groups head out for the Ganga aarti or the food lanes, then come back to a cool house. The AC or the heating, depending on season, is already doing its job. Ask the caretaker about dinner if you would rather stay in.

Make coffee in the kitchen and take it slowly. Blinds keep the bedrooms dark, so people tend to sleep a little later than planned. If you want a sunrise boat ride, leave well before this hour.

Pack, run a last load in the washer if needed, and settle up with the caretaker. Most guests leave wishing they had spent a slower morning in the lanes. Check-out is firm at 11:00, so plan the ghats for earlier.

The rooms feel lived in rather than staged. Wardrobes, bed linen and a proper kitchen make it easy to settle in.
Six bedrooms for eleven people means everyone gets a door to close, then meets again in the shared rooms. A TV and a coffee maker give the group a natural gathering point.
With a kitchen, washer, tumble dryer and a caretaker on site, longer stays run smoothly. You do not need to leave the house for the basics.
This is a home, and we want it to stay one. Look after it the way you would a relative's house, and tell the caretaker what you need. He knows the neighbourhood, the best times to leave for the ghats, and which lanes to avoid with luggage.
Varanasi is dense, old, and loud, and the pace changes sharply between the main roads and the lanes. Traffic can turn a short distance into a long one, so plan around the clock rather than the kilometres. The ghats, temples and food lanes are all within a short ride. Mornings and evenings are the best times to be out. Midday is hot for much of the year.
