As the light drops, bring the group back inside around the dining table or step out to the garden for a little longer. Put music on, cook something simple in the kitchen, and keep the balcony doors open while the air is still comfortable.

We took this home on because the river-side setting changes the pace without asking guests to give up the comforts of a proper house. The one thing we tell every group is to use the garden and balconies early and late in the day. That is when the air feels most like this part of Haryana.
This is the greener, slower side of Yamunanagar, close to the forest edge around Kalesar and the Yamuna belt. The landscape is less about city streets and more about trees, open land and roads that lead toward the park and river. Yamunanagar and Jagadhri bring the practical side of town when you need supplies or a meal out, while the cottage itself suits days with no fixed plan. Evenings get quieter here than in the city.
