How Niva Works
How Niva Works
Where her answers come from
Niva is a language model wired to our actual systems. When you ask what is free in December, she queries the live availability calendar. When she quotes a price, she runs the same pricing code checkout runs. When she describes a home, she is reading that home's record.
This is the important part: she is not recalling what our homes were like when she was trained. She looks it up when you ask.
Which means
- Prices are live. What she quotes is what you will be charged for those dates and that group size, all-in.
- Availability is live. Including nights taken by bookings made elsewhere.
- She only knows our 39 homes. Ask about a hotel in Manali and she will tell you we do not have one rather than invent it.
Where she can still be wrong
She is a language model, and language models make mistakes. She can misread an ambiguous question, lose track of a detail in a long conversation, or state something about a home with more confidence than the underlying record deserves.
So: the property page and your booking confirmation are the authority. If Niva says one thing and the property page says another, the property page is right and we would like to know about the gap. If she quotes a price that seems off, check it on the property page before you plan around it.
She will tell you when she does not know something instead of filling the gap. That is intentional, and a wrong answer from her is a bug we fix, not a quirk to work around.
The conversation
She remembers the current thread, so you can say "what about the week after" without repeating everything. Start a new conversation and she starts fresh.
When a question needs a person — a change to an existing booking, an event, something that has gone wrong — she will offer to hand you to our team, and the transcript travels with you so you are not asked to repeat yourself.
