The standard times

Check-in from 2:00 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM.

Those are the times at every one of our homes today. If a particular home ever differs, its property page and your confirmation will say so — those, not this article, are the authority for your booking.

Arriving earlier or leaving later

Both are often possible and neither is guaranteed, because it depends on whether anyone is in the house the night before or after. Ask us — the answer is much more likely to be yes if you ask a few days ahead than on the morning itself. Where we can do it, we do not charge for it.

Arriving late at night

Fine, but tell us. Many of our homes are down village roads or on hillsides where the last few kilometres are genuinely hard to find in the dark, and the caretaker would rather be awake and waiting for you than asleep.

Bring your ID

Every guest staying needs a government photo ID at check-in — Aadhaar, passport, driving licence, voter ID. This is a legal requirement for accommodation in India, not a Hostizzy rule, and the house cannot waive it. Foreign nationals need their passport and visa.

What check-in actually involves

The caretaker meets you, checks IDs, walks you round the house, shows you what needs showing — the geyser, the generator, the pool rules, where things are — and gives you their number. It takes about ten minutes.

Your trip page carries the address, a map, driving directions and the caretaker's phone number before you set off. Use it rather than the pin someone screenshotted in the group chat.

On the day you leave

Be out by 11. You do not need to clean, strip beds or take out rubbish — that is our job. Just take your things, hand back the keys, and if anything broke during the stay, mention it. Things break in houses; we would much rather hear it from you than find it afterwards.
